STEP 1 / 5The car.
Have the V5C log book to hand: the registration number, the make and model and the VIN are in it. The registration number is enough to start; the rest can be written in by hand on the day.
The people.
Seller and buyer, with their full names and addresses. DVLA needs the buyer’s name and address when the seller tells it about the sale; no licence or other ID number is ever typed here.
The deal itself.
The price, the payment, the mileage and the day. If something is not settled yet, skip it: the agreement gets a blank line for it.
Condition, finance, the number.
What the buyer should know before anyone signs. Faults the seller writes down here protect the seller; anything here can also be written in by hand on the day.
Payment.
Your document is drafted and waiting on the right. Paying removes the draft watermark and opens your 48-hour pass: every document, unlimited edits.
Sold by Clausebook ApS, a Danish company — postal address in Copenhagen to be confirmed before launch · help@clausebook.dk.
Your right to cancel, our refund promise and the model cancellation form: read them before you pay.
By pressing “Pay £1 now” you agree to our terms and conditions and our cancellation and refunds policy, confirm that you have read our privacy policy and cookie policy, and ask us to start your pass and supply your document straight away, within the 14-day cancellation period — acknowledging that you then lose the right to cancel a document when it has been supplied, and the pass when it has been fully performed. £1 today opens a 48-hour pass: every document on Clausebook, with unlimited edits. Unless you cancel within the 48 hours, it then continues as a subscription at £17 every 4 weeks (about £18.47 a month), charged in advance, until you cancel. No minimum term: you can cancel online at any time, with effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Prices include VAT.
